Helen Price has been drawn to healing and meditation since she was young. She learned and practiced various meditation techniques growing up until during an 18-month exploration of the world, she came across the ancient practice of Vipassana meditation, which she continues to practice today.
Reiki first came to Helen during her travels. She learned Usui Reiki in India and on returning to the UK discovered Jikiden Reiki, which has retained the original Japanese concepts and teachings. Helen completed both the Shoden, Okuden and Shihankaku levels with her teacher, Amanda Jayne, who studied for four years in Japan under Chiyoko and Tadao Yamaguchi.

SHIN SHIN KAIZEN USUI REIKI RYOHO
Usui Reiki Treatment Method for Improvement of Body and Mind
My teacher's teacher, Chiyoko Yamaguchi, learned Reiki in 1938, aged 17. She used Reiki all her life to help family, friends and those who came for treatments. She raised four boys using only Reiki to treat their many injuries, illnesses and issues. She had amazing stories of Reiki healing TB, serious burns, liver problems, kidney problems, saving her relative from losing an eye to infection and countless others. She was a very 'ordinary' woman who demonstrated that Reiki is so simple and natural, it is for everyone.
Community, wellness, the environment, art and the guidance of our young people are passions for Helen Price. She strives to create and be part of community projects that use Reiki, art, yoga and meditation to enhance our lives individually and collectively. As a mother, Helen has found Jikiden Reiki to be invaluable in everyday life and describes the feeling of being able to help her son when he is sick or injures himself as incredibly empowering. She enjoys giving treatments to clients and seeing the positive results. To book an appointment with Helen in Margate, call 07878 776196 or go to the contact page.
